Made for more than portfolios
Lay Theme was created for designers and creatives, but it can be used for all kinds of websites. The Showcase includes websites for products, events, therapists, dentists, accountants, consultants, a school, architects, design studios, artists and photographers.
One-time theme license
Lay Theme is a one-time purchase. You install it on your own WordPress website and pay for your own webhosting separately. Your website stays on your server and you are free to move it to another host.
Use AI when it helps
AI Mode is optional. You can build a complete website with the Gridder, or use AI Mode for the parts that need something more tailored. Claude or Codex can turn a Figma Dev Mode design into an editable Custom Element for Lay Theme.
Keep control of the result
Lay Theme runs on WordPress. You can install WordPress plugins, add your own CSS and JavaScript, edit the code and manage the content yourself. The finished website belongs to you.
